SQL is now the standard for building and accessing databases. Oracle introduced the first database for Grid Computing - Oracle 10g. In 2006 Oracle acquired Siebel thus being the world's #1 CRM vendor. With the acquisition of BEA Systems (2008) Oracle is now the biggest Middleware vendor in the world. Company owned in 100% by Oracle Corporation, established in 1992, headquartered in Warsaw. The Polish subsidiary of Oracle offers Oracle products, technical support (granted by the ISO 9002 certificate), training, business and technological consulting, also implementation of IT projects. Oracle Poland employs at present 330 people. Oracle Poland closely co-operates with strategic partners and system integrators, including major global manufacturers of computer hardware, the consulting companies and also 300 local partners. The annual revenue for CY 2010 is 590 mln PLN. The market share for database products in Poland is now over 60%.
